Day 30 - A 60 Mile Recovery Ride - Another Great Day: Phelps, WI to Mercer, WI

Another blue bird weather day. The winds were light and the roads flat. We rode easy and gave our legs a rest after a couple of challenging days of riding.

We're in the lakes region of Wisconsin. They're everywhere. Lots of resorts and fishing lodges. We think this part of Wisconsin is even prettier than the dairy lands that we saw a few days ago. We had a lake view the last two nights from our motel. Really nice. Picked up some sparklers for the 4th at our lunch stop in Boulder Junction, WI. Boulder Junction is a happening little town with a bike path that runs for miles. There were day riders everywhere.  We'll be in Clam Lake, WI tomorrow for the 4th. We'll fire up our sparklers tomorrow night and wish Uncle Sam another Happy Birthday.

Sunset view from our Phelps, WI motel.

The zombies are trying to get clever, but we know what they're up to.

A pretty wild flower. They're billions of 'em along the roadways.

Martha is holding Barney's halter.

A sign just for Martha.

Face off!!!  Barney won!
